Five Traffic Training Parks – Delhi Traffic Police

Five Traffic Training Parks have been established in Delhi with a view to impart road safety education to road users in a practical way. Visit these parks to learn about traffic rules and road safety norms in a practical and theoretical manner. Various methodologies such as Practical training in Cycling, Literature distribution, Lectures, Film Shows are being employed to inculcate safety habits among road users. Below are the locations:

TT PARK : Roshanara Bagh, Delhi:-

Timings:- Winter- 08.30 AM to 05.30 PM Timings:- Summers- 09.00 AM to 12.00 NOON & 04.00 PM to 07.00 PM Closed on Sunday. Special attraction:- Safe Two-Wheeler Riding Training for men & women. The park was remodeled and redeveloped in association with Honda Motorcycles and Scooter Ltd. (HMSI) in the month of July-2013 and inaugurated by C.P. Delhi. Since then, till date 8519 school children/Women have under gone training in safe Two-Wheeler riding.

TT PARK : Punjabi Bagh, Delhi:-

Timings:- Winter-09.30 AM to 05.30 PM Summers:- 08.00 AM to 11.00 AM & 04.00 PM to 07.00 PM Closed on Sunday. Special attraction:-Four Wheeler Simulator Training.

TT PARK : Pragati Maidan, New Delhi:-

Timings:- Winter-09.30 AM to 05.30 PM Phone: 23371256 Closed on Sunday.
Every Year in the month of November during India International TRADE Fair, Road Safety Exhibition with a New theme is displayed at Traffic Pavilion, Pragati Maidan. This year the theme was “Share Roads with Care”. On the occasion new initiatives of Delhi Traffic Police are showcased and various competition for children such as Painting Competition, Quiz Competition and other games/activites to sensitize them about road safety are organized and prizes are given to the winners.

TT PARK : Bal Bhawan, BSZ Marg, New Delhi:-

Timings:- Winter-09.30 AM to 05.30 PM Closed on Sunday.
The park is situated inside National Bal Bhawan, where various activities for children are organized. The child who visits the place to participate in other activities are imparted training in safe and proper use of road and traffic.

TT PARK : Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi:-

Timings:- Winter-10.00 AM to 05.00 PM Timings:- Summers-08.00 to 11.00 AM & 04.00 to 07.00 PM Closed on Sunday.

Driving in Foggy Conditions advisory from Delhi Traffic Police

Due to foggy condition in winters, visibility is reduced considerably, following measures may be taken for safe driving :

• Use fog lights.
• Turn on your wipers and defroster.
• Avoid using high beams.
• Keep your vehicle’s blinker on.
• Use the central verge of the road to guide you.
• Do not stop abruptly.
• Drive cautiously.
• Honk your horn periodically to let other drivers know of your presence.
• Never attempt overtaking.
• Never park your vehicle on the carriageway.
• Distances are hard to judge and low visibility decreases your reaction time.
